Actual Test of Controlling Servo SD-AS-MX3600 Using PWM Signal

  • Due to the friction of new gears in the gearbox, the operation of the servo may produce some noise, which is a normal phenomenon. Please refer to the video to determine if this noise is acceptable.

    Rechecking the Open-Loop Rotation Angle of the Servo

    • Using an Angle Encoder Connect the rotary encoder to the servo rotation axis, monitor the PWM signal sent to the servo, calculate the theoretical angle value based on the sent signal, and then measure the actual rotation angle value with the rotary encoder.

    • Result: At the two position points of the minimum and maximum values, the angles are basically consistent, but there is an angle deviation of 3-5 degrees in the process angle values.
